Forever finding inspiration in nature Ed has spent the last 2 years developing this series of “harvest tables”
This side table floats over a golden stook of wheat freshly harvested and awaiting collection. Each ear is hand cast, painted and gilded and the leaves attached, this process takes half an hour with over 340 individual stalks creating each stook. The hand stitched leather topped table comes with a bevelled semi circle of glass and the stook is lit by a LED light.
This numbered series (a bakers dozen) consists of 13 tables. Working with a talented sculptor Nos 4,8 and 12 come with harvest mice and no 13 with a pair of grey partridges.
