The Dragon Room came as a request to build a childs' bedroom for 3 children and it needed to contain a dragon. this simple brief.

The idea of a ruined castle came as a eureka moment  and what followed far surpassed an ideas the client had envisioned. the room was inside a grade 2 listed Kent farmhouse and there was a requirement not to use any fixings into the original structure.

the build took 3 months and was fully built in the workshop before being dismantled and installed on site in 2 weeks. The end result was 3 bunks hidden behind a castle wall with a seating area, then secret passages from the bunk area to a mezzanine floor and staircase and finally a walk in wardrobe with large doors containing additional drawers
